I was, obviously concerned to discover that Kiss Library is offering one of my works for sale without my permission. Firstly (as already stated) I never granted that organisation permission to sell any of my titles, and, secondly any funds from such sales will not be going into…

I sent three notices to Kiss this week. They claim to not intentionally infringe yet most of the works on their site are ePub and PDF files. Clearly pirated

Thank you for posting this information. I just searched my book and found it on a website I have not used for sales. I am looking into how this has happened. I appreciate the heads up. Mary

I really only reblogged this post, although I believe I definitely needed to share it. It is Kevin at
https://kmorrispoet.com/ who brought all this to our attention. I do hope you can sort this out. It is so unfair.💜

I am glad that my post is proving useful to my fellow authors. However I am sorry to find that so many hard working fellow writers have found their work (without their permission) available on the Kiss site. Best – Kevin

This is indeed an eye opener to everyone. It is very important to share. Some changes need to be made.

I understand that there are tools in existence that can be used to strip away Digital Rights Management (DRM) protection. DRM is the method employed to prevent people from copying a file, however (as with most things) it can be broken by those intent on copying the work of others.
