Welcome back to Weekend Music Share; the place where everyone can share their favourite music.
This week, Hugh has invited us to share a favourite song or piece of music that is connected to a favourite genre of yours, or just share a favourite piece of music or song with us. Share a link to it in the comments on Hugh views and News or link back to Hugh’s post from your blog.
Now like Hugh I am a huge SiFi fan and one of my favourites is the series of films and series of the next generation of the Cylons. Battle Star Galactica. I had not been out of hospital long after breaking my back the second time. The series and the fabulous Music by Bear McCleary and Richard Gibbs was a life saver through long winter days and nights! You can read all about the soundtrack here.
My eldest son gave me the film’s and every episode of the series made in the 2000s.
The music is beautiful and haunting and as I say a lifesaver. I still love and listen to it often.
My thanks to Erika Kind for the inspiration for this feature.
Hope everyone enjoys this. Happy Weekend.

I’ve never watched Battlestar Galactica, but the ‘Opening’ video is very tempting to start watching, Willow. Is that how it all starts?
I thought the music on the first video was on the verge of some heavy rock.

Thank you. I will check it out on your recommendation, Willow. Iβm going to see if itβs available on Netflix or Amazon Prime. However, I first have 156 episodes of The original series of The Twilight Zone to watch. Iβve found a fan club of the series. Iβll tell you more at the Bloggers Bash. π

I do hope you will enjoy, it saved my sanity after I broke my back the second time ππ
Jun 02, 2019 @ 09:44:36

Jun 02, 2019 @ 18:38:50
Willow, I had no idea! This is terrible but I am glad that you are on the way “back to normal”. How long have you been dealing with the second incident?
Jun 02, 2019 @ 18:42:34
About 10 years now , the hardest thing was getting off opiates and neauropathic pain killers which I was addicted to in vast amounts. Thank God I am pill free for 1 year now I have constant pain but I am me πππππ
Jun 02, 2019 @ 18:48:40
Wow, what a strong woman you are. I can imagine that pain is a mean companion on this journey and it is no surprise that addictions happen. But the side-effects can be bad too. I admire you for the long way you have come, Willow π
Jun 02, 2019 @ 19:15:14
Thank you Erika I am so grateful for your support π

The video was banned in the US for some unknown reason! My husband is a major fan of SciFi. I once was but now there’s so much of it!
Jun 01, 2019 @ 20:43:09
Yes there is a lot of SiFi but I do love it! π
