This week for the Weekend Music Share Hugh of Hugh’s Views and News has asked us for music we like to relax to.
I am a huge fan of Enya and so I have picked this one .
Any Song from Enya would do the job but this is a particular favourite.
Wild Child by Enya was from the album A Day Without Rain. The songle was released in Germany and Korea only on CD, in UK it was also on cassette.
“Wild Child” was used as the title sequence of the Japanese film Calmi Cuori Appassionati(2001).
The B-side “Midnight Blue” was later reworked and included as the title track on Enya’s 2008 studio album, And Winter Came ….
Enya performed the song at the 2001 Japan Gold Disc Award, after received an award for Best International Pop Albums of the Year for A Day Without Rain

I almost chose an Enya track for this week’s challenge, but Jon and Vangelis pipped her at the post. She has the kind of voice that would melt butter (and I mean that in a nice way). So soothing and calming.
