Song Lyric Sunday, Burn/ Fire/Flame.

Hi everyone and thanks to our host Jim at NewEpicAuthor for this week’s Song Lyric Sunday prompt. Burn/Fire/Flame.

So many great songs to choose from and I need to be careful not to use any I have used before.

Well use this one before or not I adore Fire Meets Gasoline by Sia. It fits the prompt perfectly.

Burn by Ellie Goulding Oh! Love this too.

Oh! And the Australian group Midnight Oil , Beds are burning. The best protest song ever!

And the best video

Of course with this prompt we have to Have Arthur Brown who I saw live at Reading Festival years ago..a lifetime ago. Fire!

And the Bangles Eternal Flame.

Okay I shall stop now I have on on a bit but before I go .

We didn’t start the the fire Billy Joel ..best history lesson ever.

And the pictures.

Okay so I didn’t enjoy this one πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

Blimey, I managed to remember one song for my post but your selection is brilliant and I know a couple of them… πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸπŸŒ»

This is the first time that I ever watched The Crazy World of Arthur Brown Fire video before, but I heard the song so many times and it is a classic. I enjoyed the Midnight Oil song and the other two by Sia and Ellie Goulding and it is always fun to listen to new music. Someone else also included the Bangles song and finishing up with Billy Joel always works for me.

Yes sorry I got so carried away and it took a lot of will power to stop when I did! I saw Arthur Brown live years ago that fire in his hat was dangerous real and scary!! 🌹🌹

Quite a selection. I LOVED all of them. I watched the Midnight Oil video on a loop when it first came out.
