Echo.

Hello, hello oh

Echo bounces round the hills

It’s voice sweet and low

Around at will, to and fro

It’s sound always brings me thrills.

When I was a child my Mum always sung the song Little Sir Echo how do you do. I loved it and learned it and sang it to my children.

Mum must of liked the song and I will always have lovely memories of the song, hearing her singing it to me and my children. Sadly she did not live to see my grandchildren but in my mind I hear and see her sing to them 💜

I haven’t heard that song since my own mother sang it to me as a child! It’s been so long, I didn’t even recognize it until the final verse. Thanks so much for the memory, Willow!! ❤

How lovely that your mother sang to you, and you in turn, sang to your children…

Enjoyed that – thank you for posting it, Willow. I don’t remember ever hearing it before (and I’m years older than you!) Guess it wasn’t one of my mom’s favorites. Glad it has such good memories for you. ❤️❤️❤️
