Thursday Photo Prompt:#writephoto Hidden.

This is my entry for #writephoto for Sue Vincent‘s prompt.

Knows what

Lies beneath

The calm waters

Of this placid stream

Unseen currents forging

Ahead into the unknown

Belying the calm of above

Just as in life we forge on swan like

Thrashing madly underneath, feigning calm.

Just beautiful. I heard the rhythm of gentle waves as I read it. The last two lines are profound.
