Winters

Finally

Here, all other

Seasons now are spent

Nature secures her seeds

Deep away from winter’s chill

Her creatures sleep protected too

Whilst winter does her very best to freeze

Mother Nature sole caretaker of all.

The Wait is Over! #NewRelease OATH KEEPER is here #TuesdayBookBlog

Brilliant News from Shelley Wilson 💜

I Write. I Read. I Review

The wait is finally over, book two of my Hood Academy Duology is out TODAY!

Yes, Mia is back and ready to jump straight into the action, but just in case you missed book one (OATH BREAKER) here’s the blurb:

Will she follow the pack… Or will she destroy them?

A dead mother… A violent father… A missing brother…

When Mia’s father is murdered, it’s her estranged uncle that comes to the rescue, but what he offers her in return for his help could be worse than the life she is leaving behind.

Taken to Hood Academy, a unique school deep in the forest, she discovers friendships, love, and the courage to stand on her own.

Screams in the night. Secret rooms. Hidden letters. Mia becomes…

Twittering Tales #112 – 27 November 2018 – The Bucket List

This is my entry for Kat Myrman’s Twittering Tales.

She’d been 17 when they had married. 19years when the first boy arrived and 30years when the third and last boy appeared. Well now they had all grown and flown. It was their time. So they renewed their passports and set off on their travels. So they entered their second teens.

RonovanWrites Weekly Haiku Poetry Prompt Challenge 229 Win&Lose

This is brought to you as part of Ronovanwrites Weekly Haiku Challenge.

Paradise.

Golden beach blue sea

A win setting my soul free

That’s a no lose see.

Viva Mexico.

The moon lingers

Jealously holding on

Wanting to stay

The sun not ready for the day.

The beach is deserted

Not a soul in sight

The sun slowly awakening

Tired from the night.

Slowly the sun climbs in the sky

Revealing a beach to make you sigh.

Yellow and blue are to be seen

Now lit by the sun, all new and pristine.

Song Lyric Sunday. 25/11/18. First.

This week HelenVahdati has chosen the prompt First for her Song Lyric Sunday.

I have decided to use ‘I am the one and only ‘ by Chesney Hawkes.

I absolutely love this song it is really a one hit wonder.

Why did it pop into my mind when I thought of the word first. Well he is singing about believing in himself. He is the one and only so he is the first and last!
