Here we are at the unholy month of October. I thought I would do a paranormal, witchy, unholy bunch of poems, some new and some old.
Don’t forget to check out Jane Dougherty and Kat Myrman‘s plans for this month!
Today’s poem is about evil within.
Fear
His beautiful calm face belies his fear
The evil of his of his soul grows ever near!
He strives to fight him to slay him forever
But it is a foe that defeats all his endeavor.
Brave he is but all his attempts to remove the evil
Are defeated, he rages he shouts but to no avail.
Sadly he thinks of those he loves, those he must leave
Those he does not want to hurt, for them and himself he will grieve.
The evil approaches him it is drawing near
He must go leave those he holds dear.
He will slay his beast he will be victor
He will return healed to live in peace evermore.

And honorable, troubled soul. Whatβs extraordinary is that he thinks not of himself, sacrificing by leaving for the sake of those he loves. β€οΈπβ€οΈ
