Scary October 7

Here we are at the unholy month of October. I thought I would do a paranormal, witchy, unholy bunch of poems, some new and some old.

Don’t forget to check out Jane Dougherty and Kat Myrman‘s plans for this month!

Today’s poem is in Rhyming Couplets.

It’s Coming.

Mist rolls in from the sea

There’s something evil in there wanting to be free.

Swirling in atop the cliffs

Relentlessly moving it’s shape

It shifts.

+_+

There is menace all around

No save haven to be found.

Time is ticking on as the unholy approaches.

Things are on the move, spiders bats and roaches.

+_+

The witches are making ready to awake the dead

Vampires and Zombies are restless to be fed.

Things are making plan totally unseen.

We are on the countdown now towards Halloween.

+_+

I am enjoying the build up to Halloween although I can’t seem to write one poetic word about it.
