Thursday photo prompt: Faraway #writephoto

This is my entry for Sue Vincent’s Thursday Photo Prompt.

Faraway

Pink and blue

The sky’s new huge

Reflected in the sea

Breezes set my soul free.

——–

My eyes scan

The horizons new

Giving my life a different huge

Is this all part of the masterplan

———

A tiny speck of sand

I am held within God’s hand

He whispers in my ear

All my fears disappeare.

Scary October 5

Here we are at the unholy month of October. I thought I would do a paranormal, witchy, unholy bunch of poems, some new and some old.

Don’t forget to check out Jane Dougherty and Kat Myrman‘s plans for this month!

Today’s poem is about evil.

Lurking in the shadows clawing at the doors

Evil knows no boundaries, evil knows no laws.

Feeding on your insecurities and fear

It will eat you up from the inside, scream, no one hears!

Bury your head in the sand cover up your ears.

Evil will have the last laugh.

Run away from the darkness, it will do you no good

Evil can’t be out run, what made you think it could?

Watch your back, mind your step it lurks round ever corner

It invades all parts of life every brick, stone and fauna.

Lurking in the shadows clawing at the doors

Evil knows no boundaries and it knows no laws.
