The Escapist Coloring Club Prompt – October 1, 2018

Right no point it lying I didn’t do any Colouring at all in September, it was a busy month.

But I have have read the rules and this is part of them : all you have to do is post pictures of your own colouring, your kids’ colouring, or that of anyone you know and have permission to share. This is a month-long prompt, which means you have all of October to link back here.

So for September I am posting a picture my husband drew himself and coloured in himself forty years ago. It’s our first son aged 5years old, he was in hospital and rather ill. Happy to say he is fine and dandy now 🤗

October I shall attempt to do a pretty pattern. I have some new pastel pencils, given to me on my birthday, as well as my lovely original warm colours so I have no excuse!

Happy Colouring Everyone.

This post is brought to you Via Linda G Hill‘s The Escapist Colouring Club.

Scary October 2

Here we are at the unholy month of October. I thought I would do a paranormal, witchy, unholy bunch of poems, some new and some old.

Don’t forget to check out Jane Dougherty and Kat Myrman‘s plans for this month!

Today’s poem is an Acrostic one.

All Hallows Eve.

Autumn is here what’s in store

Light is in short supply

Lingering sprites begin to fly.

————-

Have you felt the chill

About the streets it folds

Lowly spirits roam at will

Looking for unsuspecting souls

Open doors quickly shut

When mists begin to swell

Souls come up from hell.

————–

Evil rises at this time of year

Vampires ghouls and bats

Eve of all hallows brings fear.

Twittering Tales #104 – 2 October 2018

Here is my entry for Kat Myrman’s Twittering Tales.

The Stone

Moses stormed out of Peter’s office. He was so angry! “I spent week’s writing those commandments. And now they are gone!”
Down on earth Azriel was happily playing in the sand waiting for the tide to turn? Satan had promised him a paddle if buried the stone. For Mr Carter to find.

Rules and Pingback Here

Well I am going for an Etheree this week and as it is October of course it’s got to be ghostly. My words to be used Synonymously are Ghost and Purgatory.

Trapped

A soul

In torment

Banished always

From the light of love

Invisible, watching

Only heartache and deep pain

Endless agony no escape

All you can do is watch afar

Forgotten, unloved a tormented soul.
