This is my entry for Colleen Chesebro, the Fairy Whisper’s Tuesday Tanka Challenge.

This week I did a Cinquain.

Downward

We two decsend

Dropping dreams dashed we’re smashed

I endeavour to spread my wings

No hope.

    Why did I think a tanka was 5, 7, 5, 7, 7 ?
    Are there variations that are allowed? As you can see, I’ve no clue!

    I saw hunger in Africa and Asia. Photo should make people understand. Real war is forgotten. The war to feed a hungry world. Powerful and worthwhile words shared my friend.
