For the month of September I am going to choose a piece of music or song and write a poem or alternative version. Jane Dougherty is doing a September Stanza here. And Kat Myrman is doing September a poem a day Here
Today’s music is The dance of the Signets from Swan Lake. by Tchaikovsky. The Mathew Bournemale Swan Lake
My interpretation.
The boys will be boys
They argue over toys
Boys will be boys.
Play fighting and showing off
This is how they learn and grow.
Boys will be boy’s
The Cignets play
Soon they’ll learn to fly away.
The Cignets play fight
Testing eachother in the night
Soon they will be grown
And have Cignets of their own
……………
I tried to write in the same meter as the music.

That’s a real shame, you might find it if you search, Mathew Bourne’s Make Swan Lake Dance of the Cignets. It’s a lovely video clip.π
