Song Lyric Sunday. Break.

This week HelenVahdati has given us the Song Lyric Sunday prompt of Break.

Break is a very apt prompt for me this week. On Tuesday evening I fell badly whilst out walking the Ruby. After a visit to A&E and xrays it was established that there were no breaks but soft tissue, tendon and muscle damage! I have a technicolour foot and leg. I am still hobbling and can’t walk far but I am on the mend. Pictures below are my foot and leg today.

Rules and Pingback Here

I have pick a really old one. It is Breakaway by the Springfields released in 1961.

Dusty Springfield was in the Springfields with her brother Tom before she hit the big time.

Just a little snippet of information. Dusty Springfield, real name Mary Isabel Catherine Bernadette O’Brien went to school with my eldest sister.

Mike Hurst vocals and guitar has hooked up with Alice Pitt-Carter on vocals and Andy Marlow on 12 string guitar.

That looks so painful! Do you by chance have any arnica cream? It can speed the healing of bruises and strained muscles/tendons, and help with the pain. (I swear by it!) Comes from the “arnica montana” plant.
