This is my entry for Sue Vincent of The Daily Echo‘s Thursday Photo Prompt Challenge.
Fallen
Fallen from another world
These two angels never their wings unfurled.
Fell to earth too fast to recover
Lay now, asleep next to each other.
I hope that they have their wish
And their blessed former life they will not miss.
In this green haven they lay side by side
Their forbidden love they could not hide.
They are fated to remain here forever
Two as one, to be separated never.

Thank you Sue I always worry for fallen angels… They sacrifice so much π
May 10, 2018 @ 17:53:47
Perhaps they know more than we do of their purpose π x

There is something about having stood in the presence of God only to fall from such a lofty height. What can cause such a tragedy?
May 10, 2018 @ 17:29:05
Love, hate envy or any feeling that is too strong that devil can throw in. In this case these two angels fell in love.. not permitted, among angels, and so they fell from grace. π
May 10, 2018 @ 18:10:05
I always find it interesting that all the angels in the Bible are guys. Now that certainly would be something you wouldn’t expect in Heaven.
May 10, 2018 @ 18:14:29
I believe Angels are supposed to be androgynous, but I think there is room for male an female. πππ
