Today Linda of A Life in Progress has given us the Bun to use for our #SoCs. We can use it in a word or as a word in its own right.
We always had hot cross buns on Good Friday for breakfast. They were always fresh from the oven. I loved them somthered with butter and jam. It was a delicious way to start the day and end our Lenten fast.
We would not have had anything so tasty since our lemon and sugar pancakes 40 days previous on Shrove Tuesday.
Then we went to mass followed by the Stations of the Cross. I am sure we were all there for over three hours! That’s a long time when you are a baby, a toddler, young girl and even teenager.
I do remember it always seemed to go dark around 3pm. That’s the time the Crusifixion was said to have taken place. Whether that was autosuggestion or not I always expect it.
Sunday was mass again and then 🐥🐤🐣 Easter eggs.💜🐰🐇
Well that’s my ramblings I decided to do a Acrostic Nonet about Easter and Hot Cross Buns.
Using the nine lettered word Abundance, well nowadays you can buy an abundance of them all year round.
Abundance.
Always at Easter after Lents done
Bakers prepare the hot cross bun
Uncannily fruity fun
No one can resist them
Don’t fib you love them.
April or March
No matter
Come and
Eat.

I was on the phone today with an old friend and we were discussing living in the moment. It put me in mind a poem I had written in 2012. I had a look at and decided I needed to rewrite it. If you would like a look at the original it is here.
Dream not

Dream not of today
That is what the wise men say
Fear not for yesterday it is gone
Taking what you should of done,
Like a thief it made off at a run.
Dream not of today
Waste not your time on dreams
Be quick make fast your schemes.
Reach not too hard into the future
It’s not yet come,
Don’t waste time on things
You can’t know, nor will be done.
Dream not of today
It is not here to stay.
Hold not on to that which cannot last
These things end up in the past
Run your best!
You will fail like the rest.
You can not out run time
It’s part of the plan sublime.
Dream not of today.
Don’t let your life slip away.
Chase each and every chance
Sing, love, be honest and dance.

Bloggers Bash News.😉😉
Panel Debate 2018
The Annual Bloggers Bash returns bigger and better than ever on Saturday 19th May 2018. The venue is booked, and the committee have been busy working behind the scenes to ensure the day is full of fun, learning opportunities, networking, and, of course, the blogtastic award ceremony.
To ensure that you get the most out of your day we are looking for your input. We received incredible feedback about the panel debate at last year’s event so we’ve decided to bring this back.
In order to maximise the time and choose the right panellists to meet your needs we want you to submit questions/topics that can be put forward for debate.
Here are a few suggestions to get your mind ticking:

An explanation is needed for this.
I have not been well and have had to visit the Drs twice this week. One my second visit I was given ‘Sledgehammer Medication’ unfortunately I missunderstood the directions. I did not take it correctly.
I spoke to the Dr this afternoon. I explained what I had done and asked would it still work.
Dr’s reply. ” Well it might, or it might not, don’t worry if it doesn’t we can try again next week” ! Well he has covered all bases hasn’t he. 😱😱😱
