A Tanka.

I compose for you

My dearest friend a story

Carved deeply in stone

You’re the stuff of fairytales

Through time I tell your story.

Twittering Tales #68. 23 January. The Village.

This week our photo Prompt from Kat Myrman of Like Murcury Colliding for Twittering Tales, is a lovely Scandinavian looking village..

And we all watch those Scandinavian detective stories don’t we …. So dark!

The Village. ( Byen)

Dark fell, the lights in the village came on giving the place a fairytale look. From on top of the snowy ridge he stood wrapped up against the cold. Knife in gloved hand dripping blood.
From his green shoes to his red feathered hat the elf looked so cute. Just don’t invite him in.

In these dark, dull and cold January days we need some colour and colour with warmth would be even better.

Colour can make such a difference to your day. What you wear, the colours of your rooms. Nature and life a keleidoscope of colour

Colour, Acrostic Poem.

Colour makes our day

Orange, yellow, red and blue

Lack luster blown away

Opens up horizons new

Un known depths of warmth

Rainbow hues to bathe in.
