Just Jot it January & Stream of Consciousness Saturday. 13/1/2018

Today is day 13 of Just Jot it January. It is a joint post combining  Stream of Consciousness  Saturday.

Your prompt for #JusJoJan and Stream of Consciousness Saturday is as follows: read closely. When you’re ready to sit down and write your post, look to the publication (book, newspaper, permission slip from your kid’s teacher, whatever you find) closest to you, and base your post on the sixth, seventh, and eighth word from the beginning of the page. Enjoy!

Political landscape of.

Well that’s a heavy prompt isn’t  but l am game for a challenge, so let’s hope that I can do it justice. These three words come from the introduction of a great little book called  The Quotable Churchill by Running Press.

Well let’s think world wars, Churchill was involved in both the first and the second world war.

         Tanka WW1

 The war to end wars

Did not do this job at all

Sixteen Million

People in total did fall

Of Political landscape?

All, stabbed in the heart.

Right along the Siegfried line

I have been far and wide but
I am back now, and will endeavour
to post each day, or at least every
other day from now on. I don’t
expect many visitors as I have not
been posting regularly here in years
but I welcome anyone that wishes
to call by, just watch out for the Zombie’s
        Finger… lol
