#SoCS & #JusJoJan Daily Prompt, Jan. 6th, 2018 Acrostic Poem.

Today is Day 6 of #jusjojan and it is also our usual #SoCs.

The very efficient LindaGHill of Life in Progress has told us that our prompt is  eco we are to use a word that starts with eco or has eco in it.

 Acrostic Poem Ecowarriors

 Ecology is their goal

Calmly  keeping the plant whole

Only eating what they can grow

Wearing natural fabrics not synthetic

Always bright robes that flow

Ready to defend their cause, never pathetic.

Rainbow vigilantes, protectos of earth

Instagaters of peaceful protest

Open to learning our planet’s worth

Reading nature’s signs striving for best.

Saviours of our mother nature.

Swampy was a hero, sadly as with most Ecowarriors his cause eventually fell to the god Mamon. I am not an eco zelot but I remember my eldest son and his mates spending time at Twyford Down…. So glad you liked it, I love doing Acrostic poems πŸ’œπŸŽ†

Wonderful acrostic, Willow. (When I first read it the vertical word, I read “cow warriors” Ha ha. Had to share that.)

Sometimes the ones most willing to serve the common good are the ones most feared and most needed… We don’t like to slow down to see what we’re doing to our world, but the ecowarriors demand we do.
