In Canada as well as in other British Commonwealth countries today is Remembrance Day – in the United States it is called Veteran’s Day.
No matter where you live or what you call it, November 11th, the anniversary of the armistice that officially ended World War I, is the day that many of us stop to pay tribute to all those who served and sacrificed on our behalf.

This year I thought I’d share this silent tribute in the form of a television ad from our major national telecom supplier Bell Canada. The ad which also ran last year at this time is a modern take on connecting with the past and though not a word is spoken, this one gets me choked up every single time.
