The blood  dimmed – Tide is loosed and everywhere

The ceremony of innocence is drowned.

               The time has gone.

Throw open the gates, let in the water.

Pay no heed to the colour there is no return.

Let it all in,the red tide

The conflagration started we shall all burn.

Dash down the borders, useless. No place to hide.

We shall all drown, all is lost.

We took our eyes off the ball

The wars never stop, we pay such a cost.

Throw open the gates, break down the walls.

Today random lines.

….  ‘Stars grown old

In dancing silver-sandalled on the sea
Singing in their high and lonely melody.’

           STARS

 Old are we,

Older than ever you will be

We are ancient mariners of the sky

We twinkle and sparkle passing by

Listen closely to our siren song.

Like gems reflected in the ocean.

Meloncollic yet beautiful we sing

Moving your oceans with our silver string.

Old are we, ancient beyond your dreams.

Over you, we know your hopes and schemes.

Wordless Wednesday.

Autumn leaves tanka

I trudge through the leaves

Alone with Ruby and thoughts.

And Autumn colours

Crunchy under foot, blissful

Woman and her dog as one.
