Thursday Doors 28 Sept. 2017

Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favorite door photos from around the world. Feel free to join in on the fun by creating your own Thursday Doors post each week and then sharing it, between Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American eastern time), by using the blue link-up button on Norman’s page here.

Above a huge door into Dalhousie Castle: Bonnirigg. Scotland.

Steps down to the door into the orangery and breakfast.

The door at the end of our corridor and exit from our room.

A strange little door in a hallway , locked !

The door from our private corridor into our room.

The door into Edinburgh Castle.

Lovely photos. Isn’t Edinburgh and surrounding area beautiful. I’m in East Lothian at the moment.

Wow, you actually got to stay there? It must have been a special experience. Too cool!
If I ever make it to that area I am absolutely going to make a point of checking this place out.

Am always in love with castles, and love the climbing plant on the wall! Except for the door of course, the view of the stairs with the shadows of the railing is very cool!

I used to live in Scotland and Dalhousue Castle used to have Medieval banquets. It was a lot of fun. Thank you for the beautiful photographs 🌼

Who doesn’t like a castle? I love your second capture though with the garden room (is that what you call orangerie?) Such a breath of fresh air!
