Stream of Consciousness Saturday: Dew, Due,Do.

This week our Linda of Life in progress is out signing books. So Dan Action of  NoFacilities  is standing in for her.

#SoCs

Now Dan’s prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “do/dew/due”. Use one, use two or use all three. If you start and end with two of them, you get bonus points. If you use all three AND start and end with two of them, you get Linda’s bonus points plus, I’ll match hers – from me to you. And, lest we all forget – Enjoy!

My Blog

have you had one of those weeks when everything seems to go wrong .?

The shower died on Saturday. We couldn’t get a Plumber til Monday!

i went shopping at my local supermarket and at the check out  discovered that I didn’t have my bank card.

I went to an ATM for cash another day and the machine was out of order.

Whilst doing some gardening, potting up some bulbs and pansies i caught my skirt on a rough edge and pulled a thread!!

An arrangement with a friend to go to the cinema had to be cancelled because she had a family crisis to be dealt with immediately…we were both disappointed.

During my walk this morning I struggled with my breathing and took a long time to recover on return home after 25 minutes walking.

I called the Dr and got an appointment. he suggested i had an ECG…

Writingdesk . Cinquain.

Colleen Chesebro of Fairy Whisperer suggested we try writing a cinquain this morning on her blog here . I also saw that Jane Dougherty had also put out a ‘Sort of  Challenge’ calling it  Surroundings.

Well I thought why not combine the two.  I have used Jane’s photo of her desk. A place for putting things  but using a little poetic licence I have attempted a cinquain. The word count is not correct but the syllables are. Forgive I am learning.

You can join in both challengs I have enclosed the links above. So thanks to Colleen and Jane here is my effort.

Thursday Doors 28 Sept. 2017

Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favorite door photos from around the world. Feel free to join in on the fun by creating your own Thursday Doors post each week and then sharing it, between Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American eastern time), by using the blue link-up button on Norman’s page here.

Sue Vincent’s Thursday Photo Prompt: Signs

This week’s prompt from Sue Vincent of Daily Echo  is Signs.

I wrote a Tanka then reversed the verse  which though no longer a Tanka still flow and made sense… I hope.

The reverse idea comes from micketalbot

Killed by man alone

Why display this in your home

A sign man still has to grow.

This week Sacha Black has asked us to write our 52 Weeks in 52 Words Challenge about, The Night we got locked the museum.

Damn these bloody locks! Who is going to believe me, I ask you who actually gets locked in a toilet, inside a museum? Ah! at last the door is open let’s see if I can get some help.

Well would you credit it, the museum of telephones and none of them work!
