Sacha Black, #writespiration,52-weeks-in-52words, week-34,

This week the Fabulous Sacha Black has set an exstordinarily difficult writespiration. The words we have been set this week are Badger, Amulet and Coward.

Rules and Pingback Here

Badger was a bit of a coward until the day he found a beautiful bright amulet blocking the centre of his set.

Badger being Badger called his wife and demanded she move it. Well she did and she turned into a bird and flew off.

This annoyed Badger because he missed dinner.

Twittering Tales : Sunrise Ants.

This week Kat Myrman of Like Murcury Colliding has given us a very interesting photo prompt.

Rules and Pingback Here

The sun came up, so did the ants.

They crawled up legs and bit us in our pants.

Who decided we should use this spot

Just to get the sunrise shot.

One Liner Wednesday: Bletchley Park, Churchill,

The Geese that laid the golden eggs but never cackled.

Winston Churchill.

Churchill made the above statement about the people at Bletchley Park.

On Thursday this week we visited Bletchley Park in Buckinghamshire  where the Enigma and Lorenzo machines and codes were cracked during WW2.

The 8500 people at Bletchley and the 1500 who worked at the two outstations were all sworn to secrecy and many died with their secrets intactact.

The valiant work they did and the harsh conditions in which they worked and lived are no longer secret and so we were able to visit and see it all.

If it had not been for the brilliant minds and dedication of these men and women, who shortened the war by at least two years we may not be here or we may all of been speaking German.  (As our guide told us. )

Wordless Wednesday. Flowers, reflections water and glass.

Now I know this post is called Wordless Wednesday but let’s face it, it is Saturday and I am so behind so I am going to say a little.
I took this photo in my sister-in-law’s garden and I am delighted to see the reflection of the sky and her garden in the glass fountain. 🌹💜
