#writespiration-127-52-weeks-in-52-words-week-32/

This week the Boss lady Sacha Black has given us the Prompt : A  streaky sky.  Rules and Pingback here.

Your challenge is to write your story using the weekly theme/prompt and write it in just 52 words…. EXACTLY, no more, no less.

So 52 Words it will but as an Acrostic Tale

After a wild night
Sunrise came clear and bright

The sky was streaky

Relief filled my heart completely

Early morning walks with the dog

Always cleares my heard of fog.

Keeping my spirits high

Yearning for freedom I walk

Solitude my escape from talk

Kindly the dog looks at me

Yes freedom.

Colleen’s Weekly #Poetry Challenge # 45 – #Haiku #Haibun or #Tanka: Hate & Pride

This week our very own Fairy Whisperer  Colleen Chesebro has given us the two words Hate and Pride for the Haiku, Haibun or Tanka prompt.

This week my Tanka is inspired by Geoff Lepard‘s post on the Killing Fields of Cambodia. His post is here.

Pure pride can instil

So much negativity

With hate the crowd fill

Why all move as one for ill

We’ve not learned from history.
