           The morning after.

The quiet was deafening, unlike last night. The screams the blood the fear. The worst had happened. The world sickened him. He felt so sad.

Colleen’s Weekly #Poetry Challenge # 35 – PAST & FUTURE

         ~~~~
Lives cut short too soon
Blood and tears under the moon
No future just past.
Like Hamlin of old
The children are gone all lost
For them no future.
Their future is lost
The past will soon all be lost
Young ones what a cost.
God Bless Manchester.
I have waited and thought all morning wondering should I say something. I have come to the conclusion that I should.
Manchester was rocked and shocked last night after the Ariana Grande Concert at The Manchester Arena a suicide bomber set off a bomb and so far 22 people are dead and 59 are injured, many life threateningly. Information here
     God Bless Manchester
God bless Manchester,you have heart
You all pull together last night
When lives were blown apart.
People helped each other,they did what was right.
Why attack innocent children
“In the name of God”, that’s wrong!
God, whatever name you give them
Would never want you kill, especially not the young.
I best not say anymore though my heart is full of words. I send love and hope to the families whose lives have been shattered and changed in a split second. All this on a night when they were out for fun. A night when whoever did this knew the arena would be full of youngsters and children with parents.
