We are not ourselves

Chin up Sis , we are. 💜💝

My Blog

A book chosen at random on my afternoon of volunteering at my local Library. Written by Matthew Thomas , his first Novel, a keenly observed story of family life.

I finished reading it this morning…a mere 14 days …Having to discipline myself not to keep reading at the expense of household tasks…it was difficult to put down.

Little did I know it was going to take me into a world that might well be my future as my partner of 58 years slowly loses his short term memory.

I hope I will not be like the Mother/Wife in the story who felt she could handle everything and not look for help…in fact i know in my heart I won’t be like that.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.Mirror, Mirror.

K’Lee and Dale’s Cosmic photo challenge this week is Mirror Mirror.

I have gone au natural with my photos but hope they are artistic enough to speak for themselves.

The top one is of the reflection of the outside view in the glass of the open window. It was taken at a beautiful gite we stayed in last August in the middle of nowhere in France.

The one below shows the reflection of a French Chateau in the waters of a river.

The photo below is of sky and fields in the wing mirror of our car. You can just see my arm as I am taking the photo, hubby was driving.

Below trees and sky in a man made circular pond.

And the last one shows our garden reflected in our granite work too.
