Twittering Tales: Life Extinguished.

This  is  my  entry  for  Kat  Myrman‘s  Twittering  tales . My  little  stanza  is  based on  the  story  of  the  Little  Match  Girl written  by  Hans Christian Anderson

As the red tip expired with the heat she died her life done

Calling it a moment in time is pretty accurate Willow, nicely done.

Poor little match girl…reminds me of the Mayfly whose life expectancy is only a day or less.

    That’s lovely, Willow dear,
One’s life exists but in the life-time of a struck match. At a given level, much truth in there.
    Cheers!

Really beautiful. This captures the central metaphor of the story and reads like poetry.

Well done Willow. I loved the ‘little Match Girl Story’ and you managed to capture its essence in just 140 words! 🙂
