What is Love ?
Love hurts it makes you bleed
It is cruel and on your soul it will feed.
Love whispers poison in your ears
Hurting your feelings, feeding your fears.
Love smothers and strangles
Sucking out all the good
Like ivy wrapping you up in tangles.
You can’t sleep, you can’t eat food.
Love is a sunny day full of flowers
Spent gazing into those eyes for hours.
A kiss on the neck a brush of the hand
Under blue skies ain’t love grand.
Love a promise a thousand times I do
A rainbow of ribbons edged in lace
A reason to greet each morning anew
It is the look on the your lovers face.
Love is everything and nothing too
Love is different for me than it is for you
At it’s best it is hotter than the sun
At it’s worst you wish you’d never begun
Love is the best love is worst
Love in your heart, love on your sleeve
Love is an illness love is curse
Love is fleeting,nor yet will not leave.
