Fog : Haiku

Out late  with  the  dog

Encased in a  cloak  of  fog

It feels so  eerie.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fog : A Nonet
A light  through  the  fog  looks inviting
Familiar sights  look just like witches
Damp,  misty  Jack Frost  biting
Noise behind , nerve  end twitches
Quiet fosters fear
The light draws near
Shut the door
On the
Fog
Thursday Doors.Spinalonga
This  is  part of  Norm2.0 ‘s Thursday  doors. Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favorite door photos from around the world. Feel free to join in on the fun by creating your own Thursday Doors post each week and then sharing it, between Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American eastern time), by using the blue link-up button below  Norm2.0  on Norm2.0 post  at
In 2007  we took a  trip to  Crete  and  while  there  we visited  Spinalonga  . Sinalonga  was a Leaper  colony  between  1903 to 1957 and  before  that  it  had  a  colourful  history!Read  about  it  here
a daunting entrance
Above  the  door  by  which  the  leapers  entered … one  way.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
A beautiful and  tantalising view of  the  sea  and  the  mainland  so  near yet  so far.   OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
A beautiful sky , and a beautiful  day  the  sky  framed  the  little house with  the  sturdy  brown door!a blocked up window above the arch..I wonder why?
Another  dark passage.you can't beat that
The  view  from  the  door of  our  room.
Christmas Dreams by Willow Willers
Christmas Dreams
It is dark and very cold,
I snuggle deep into my blanket fold.
There is no noise, nor light to see
My beloved teddy next to me.
