Cracked Ice

cracked-ice

She had  been skating  all afternoon

The  sky  now golden shot  with pink

The ice strong  and  inviting

Her new skates were flying

Suddenly ice cracked

She was lost

Under

Ice

That realisation of being trapped would have to be a scary moment Di, well expressed, its the suddenness of it that frightens me.

No worries I can answer to anything !! Yes I was looking for the sudden shock. I do have a fear of being trapped under ice!

Its something too awful to contemplate….I’m worried now as to what name I used for Di…..goodness my mind is a wandering….

Who ever Di is she will understand. Back to trapped under ice, to be in freezing water, unable to breathe and yet to be able to see above and freedom but unable to break through……….. best we change the subject!!

yes [please gives me the willies thinking about it…my issue is it is summer here and we are into some hot weather, temps in the high 30Cs for the next few days….though I have solar panels on my house now and they pay for the air con during the day…..keeps the house livable…

It is very hard to comprehend prolonged high temperatures here in southern England at this time of year! we have had all day frosts for three days this week though today has been a little milder!

        Dec 02, 2016 @ 21:45:43

Its the other extreme isn’t it…..I remember working in the south years ago where it was in my opinion cold a lot of the time and there were days when if the sun didn’t hit the ground the frost remained all day….

Yes, and that is exactly how this week has been ! This planet is just full of extremes! I am impressed that your solar panels work so well for you …where are you ? if you don’t mind me asking.
