Draining  her life’s blood more each day

Friends, family  pushed  slowly  away

Lost was she from the  first

Crook of his finger

    I like the way you called it: Vampire Sadness
    Your poem reminds me of a song, it’s a catchy tune so it takes a bit to understand that the theme is about love that is actually a form of control by the other person, just like in your poem.
