Twittering Tales #6 – 30 November 2016 Red Wine

rosc3a9_7748700626

The  light played upon  the  glass  reflecting  the  windows of  the bar.The  barman  watched  the  woman in  the  red  dress silently  fondling  her glass. Something about  her   grabbed  his  interest.

As  the  evening  progressed  he  found  he  was  becoming  obsessed with  her, her figure, her  hair, her  lips  and  her  eyes. She  was sex  personified  and  she  was making him hungry, he could  feel  her  body  calling  him,he  was  growing hard  and  so distracted.   It was  becoming  impossible  to  concentrate, all he could  see  was her breasts  rising  and  falling  as  she  breathed.

Eventually he  could  take  no more  he vaulted  the bar  and  made  straight  for her. As he  approached  she  turned  and  smiled  at  him her  eyes  like ice cooled pools .”Hi”he  said  “my  name is  Tom”, “Hello  sexy  mine name is  James” was  the husky  reply.

Christmas Lies Bleeding

It  is gathering , it is growing  as it does  this time of year.

It is clawing my guts  out, as it shuffles  near.

It is spitting in  my face  and  screaming in my ear.

I am being wrenched  apart happy Christmas  my dear

Nobody ever does anything for  you..

Do you really believe that  crap is  really  true

Na  it couldn’t  be anything  you do…….. could it?

It always  happens at Christmas I have  to ask you why .

Why  take it up and screw it up, watch it bleed gasp  for air  and die!

Go on, make your selfish demands on me ,

Make  me  make the choices I never want ..never  set me fucking free.

Nobody ever does anything for  you..

Do you really believe that  crap is  really  true

Na  it couldn’t  be anything  you do…….. could it?

Bleed me  cut  me throw me in the gutter .

Make  me choose what I do not want, what the fuck  does it matter.

No doubt  you will relent  ungraciously  then be

The biggest  martyr you can, and blame your grief on me.

Nobody ever does anything for  you..

Do you really believe that  crap is  really  true

Na  it couldn’t  be anything  you do…….. could it?

Yes I bloody hate Christmas.  All it brings  is grief, arguments  and hurt.

Under  the pretence  of rejoicing many a  poor soul is being dragged  through  the dirt!

Adverts on the TV  show perfect families  enjoying the festive fayre.

It makes me want to choke  I don’t believe it, and I  think it so unfair

To ram  these lies of “happy happy times” right  down our throats .

It is just another bloody day

Everything that’s wrong still there  beneath  the  sugar  coat.

They’ll still be  there  tomorrow and  not  magically  go away

Song Lyric Sunday. Ohio by Crosby, Stills and Nash.

This week Helen Espinosa of This Life one step at a time said:So, thanks to Kerry of herheadache, our theme for Song Lyric Sunday is to post a song that helped teach you something new (something you weren’t aware of before you heard it).  I hope I captured what Kerry wanted with her suggestion, but I think it’s a good one and am forever grateful that I have followers willing to help me out.

I have picked Ohio by Crosby Stills and Nash. Now I was not sure what the song was about at first until I researched it, no quick google fix in those days. What I found out shocked me.
The Kent State Massacre 1970 please read here

After the Kent State massacre, Neil Young saw a photo of 14-year-old Mary Ann Vecchio kneeling over the dead body of college student Jeffrey Miller. He poured his rage and sorrow into the lyrics to “Ohio” and called his Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young bandmates into the studio the following day to record the new song. Even though “Teach Your Children” was all over the radio, the label rushed the finished product out, and it was playing over the air before week’s end. CSNY broke up just a few months later, making “Ohio” their furious final statement – at least until the many reunion tours.

LYRICS

Ohio”

Tin soldiers and Nixon coming,
We’re finally on our own.
This summer I hear the drumming,
Four dead in Ohio.

Gotta get down to it
Soldiers are cutting us down
Should have been done long ago.
What if you knew her
And found her dead on the ground
How can you run when you know?

Gotta get down to it
Soldiers are cutting us down
Should have been done long ago.
What if you knew her
And found her dead on the ground
How can you run when you know?

Tin soldiers and Nixon coming,
We’re finally on our own.
This summer I hear the drumming,
Four dead in Ohio.

So  after  some  thought I  decided  to  show  you  my  walk  home  from  the  gym  via  the  church yard. It  is  always  very  calm  and  atmospheric but  with  a  little  help  from Picasa 3  (  I  am  no  professional)  I  am very  pleased  with  the  shots I have come up  with.
