Stream of Consciousness Saturday: Screen, Acrostic and Haiku

Our Lovely  LindaGHill has  set us  our  SoCs  challenge  for  this  weekend  she announced  yesterday: “Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “screen.” Use it any way you’d like. Enjoy!”

So my  entries  are an Acrostic  poem  and  a Haiku.

Rules and Pingback here.

The Screen

Sitting  in the  waiting  room staring  at  the  TV screen

Concentrate on the program trying not to scream.

Relentlessly going over things deep inside  my  mind

Everything seems  normal but it is not for  you you find

Entering  the room , the Dr pulls back a screen

No need  to worry my dear things look  better  than they  have ever been.

The Silk Screen.

Brightening her day

It’s beauty took her faraway

Her joy and escape.
