SoCs: EX and SoCs Badge Design Competition

It’s the 3rd Annual SoCS Badge Design Contest!

I cannot  believe  that  a  whole year  has past  since  we  started using  our  lovely  SoCs  badge  designed  by the  Extremely talented  Hope Floats Yet  it is  and  the  Extraordinarily busy Linda G Hill said  yesterday : “It’s that time of year again – time for the Stream of Consciousness Saturday Badge Contest! A year ago this month we voted on this beautiful badge.

Well I  am not  known  for  my  Exemplary   artistic talents but I  thought  why not  have a try! There is  nothing  to lose is  there! Let  me Explain  I am trying  to  kill two birds with one  stone!  So I am entering  the  new badge  competition  while  attempting  to  write my  weekly  SoCs  entry!

That is  why  words  beginning  with  the  letters EX  are  Exponentially popping up  all over  the place.

Well, what  about  my  entry?  I have  used  a  photo  that I took last month  while on one of  my    dog walks.

There it is , I know it  is not  that  Expert  but I have tried! I do not Expect  to  win  but I do hope  someone will like it enough  to vote  for  it!

As  you can see  I have  played  with  the photo  and  Exaggerated the  colours   in the hope of catching  the  eye. Well I do not want  to Exacerbate your patience  with me so I  shall stop now  and  hope  for  the best!

So all I can do now is  Excitedly  await  the results!

If  you would like  to  enter  the New Badge  Competition   the  rules  are here in Linda’s post

It’s the 3rd Annual SoCS Badge Design Contest!

So all that is  left  for  me  to  add  is  that  is  part  of  Linda’s SoCs the  prompt  this  week  being  to use  words  beginning  with ex.

Now I am Exhausted !!!

Love the enhanced wildflowers as a badge for stream of cons, as if Mother Nature was trying out ideas and ended up with the wildflowers. I would suggest a different font for the writing – perhaps something softer or more intricate than the block style you used.

What!? You didn’t run it by us first?! ha! It is fine Willow – the picture is amazing and so very perfect for the badge. Nicely done. Linda will give you the opportunity to adjust or you can resubmit – I know that the options for font are restricted in WordPress so may be that one is the best. 😀

Very pretty design. It makes me feel happy. Regarding Paul’s comment about the font, I tried several more intricate fonts on mine because I wanted something with a feeling of flow. But I found those fonts made it hard to read the words because the background is so intricate. This might have been the case with yours. I think we used the same color for our fonts. 🙂 Best wishes, Willowdot!

Thanks JoAnna I think your entry is very restful , suitable for SoCs ! The fonts were difficult and I think we both made the correct choice. I wish you luck. Best wishes also to you JoAnna.
