Song Lyric Sunday

The talented Helen Espinosa  of This  life one  word  at a time said  : I’ve decided that the theme for this week is all about love.  You know that whole saying, “They’re playing our song…”?  Well this week, we are posting songs that make us think of those we love.  It doesn’t have to be a lover, husband or boyfriend.  It can be a best friend, or a sibling or a child.  Just post a song that makes you think of someone you love.

Thank you I agree Sinade’s voice was definitely at it’s peak then! Now to the song it is really to me about a mother’s love for her children, those who live and those she has lost ( I have had three boys all alive and lost also three babies ) so she sings of love to both. Also as a thank you to her partner and parents . But is just my personal feelings of the song everyone hears something different! 😃 xx

thank you so much for your reply – seriously – I know I am new here and i was thinking about this again earlier today – so I really appreciate it –
and I thought it was the babies – but then there is the melancholy feel – and then it is layered – so I agree with what you wrote….
and o wow does she have one of the best voices I have ever heard…
i Only knew her hit song from the early 1990’s – and this was a treat – peace

“Sinead came back into my life lately, and this is one on my playlist,” she commented.
“So sorry that you lost 3 babies — I can understand why this song so resonates in your life. Thanks so much choosing this. Her voice will always send shivers down my spine.”
