Push the button: part 12
If John had told me that the video message I was about to listen to was epic in its length he was not kidding!
I sat and watch the horrendous and frightening history of the last days of what I had always thought was my world. I watched in silent tears as I saw nation after nation destroy our beautiful planet with greed, carelessness and war.
I was amazed to see that the last thing that the survivors of the dying earth did was to send all the children and young people on to two huge ships. Strange ships the like and size of which I had never seen before!
The pain on the faces of all those left behind in those last days will never leave me….. Finally after the last of the ships took off and and the screen had gone dark, I looked across to John to ask what next but he motioned to me to watch on.
The screen in front of my eyes lit up again. To my amazement I was starting at my own face but older. “If you are watching this Traya it means the time has come for you to win the conflict and bring your people home. ” Said the woman with my face, looking into my eyes. “Are you ready Traya”she asked me. Something made me answer that I was. “Well” she continued”push the button on the desk, what are you waiting for then?”
