Push the button: Long

The force field lifted or opened either way my I could go forward safely. The children slipped in behind me.

Every one stopped and looked at me expectantly, there was a long silence .I did not know what to do so I waited. Finally after a few minutes, that felt like eons a young man approached me.

He had been at the back of the hanger and apparently started to walk up to meet me as I had entered. The hanger was so long it had take him all that time to get to me.

The next thing I know he is hugging me and welcoming me like an old friend. Then the whole hanger broke into a loud Hoorah!  I was at a lost and not a little embarrassed by the whole situation.

“At last”he said “You are here we have been wait for you for a very long time.”I had no idea who they thought I was, hell I was not even sure who I was either.

This  young man  told  me  his  name  was John Long  and he  was  commander  of  this  transport  Space  Battle  Station. Omg  I thought they are  rambling on about  things  of  which I have  no comprehension.  I asked  John  who  he  thought I  was  he  said  he  did  not  think  and  that  he  knew  exactly  who I was . Taking  my  hand  he  lead  me  to an  anti  room come  office  and  indicated  that I  should  sit  at  his  desk.

John looked  me  straight in  the  eyes  and  said.” After  the  war  started two hundred  years  ago “…..”Hang on” I  said  ” what  war ?”. John  silenced me  with a  wave of his hand  and  told  me  to listen, as  we  did  not  have  much  time  and  and  the  video message I was  about  to watch  was rather  long but it  would  explain everything . “Put  this on  ” he  said  handing  me  what  looked like a  pair of  sunglasses!

I looked  at  him he  smiled  and  touched  my  hand , “Go on” he said”Put them  on  and push  the  button! “augmented_reality_-_heads_up_display_concept
