Press the Button : Part 7

James  and  I  looked  at  each other  in  total  silence  what on Earth  had  just  happened , WTF  was  going on!
Things  were  just  getting  weirder  and  weirder . We could  not  decide  what  to  do, to  stay  or  to  follow  the others.

The  Library  did  feel  safe  and  we  really  wanted  to  feel  safe   but  we  knew  we  could  not  lose Dean  and  Kaylie. So taking  a  deep  breath I  grabbed  James’s  hand  and we followed them into  the  book.

We could  see  them a  little  way  off  in  the  distance  moving  through streets  filled  with  words  and pictures, shops  full of  poems  and  songs it  was  amazing . The  further we went into  the  book  the  safer  we  felt it was  as if  calm was  washing  over  us. It  was  so peaceful  we began  to  forget  what  had  happened  before.  Nothing seemed important anymore it was as if nothing that had gone before was of any importance.

We spent what felt like hours wandering around this magical place. Then a moment of clarity hit me, I turned to James and said can you believe this we are in a book within a fabulous library onboard a Spaceship. James wasn’t listening he was laughing. He was pointing to a Pub . He had spotted Dean and Kaylie inside and wanted us to join them.

I looked  through  the  window  and  saw  Dean  and  Kaylie,  sitting  at  a table  made of  words, they  were  chatting  to  three or four people  who  looked  vaguely  familiar.

We couldn’t get the door open, until I found the button, the red button marked press. So again I pressed the button.
