Truth : Three Haiku

Held safe within my hand
Such joy and happy light
All gone now like grains of sand.

Time colours all things
Harsh words are only abstract
Silence is what stings.

Denied and taken from me
All bonds slashed and cut
A loss deeper than the sea.

All you can do is all you can do, milady. Trust in time, for, in this universe, no matter whether we wish it or not, things will always change…. I feel your sadness without knowing any details, for we all have sadness in our lives. Mine is a granddaughter who is now a bit over a year old, whom I haven’t seen since she was five days old, and, may not ever get to see her, for her mother is, frankly, insane…

I believe is was either Plato, or Socrates, who once said that if people all came together & threw their troubles on a pile, they would be happy enough, upon seeing it, to just take their own and go away…. perhaps he was right. it doesn’t make it feel better, much, but, remembering it may help.

Be patient, and stay in your center, and all will eventually bring itself into balance…

    We’re always here, too…

Thank you sir, you are so kind and wise. I always feel calmed after reading your comments. Our problems are similar and I find it so hard to know why things have reached this state. As you say the best thing is to hold my council and wait. I remain thankful to you and true to myself. ❀ xxxx

Peace is always inside us, if we can remember to look there…. We can’t change anyone else, so, best to just remain centered. Trying to change people just makes us crazy, and never works, anyway… They must find their own way…

First excitement, then heart, soul, devotion. The person you know is never that person. If only we were capable of seeing and understanding the ones we are attracted to; Fault needs no home, it is unimportant. Relationships need to be, sometimes they are unending, sometimes not. When a personality tries to alter another, both suffer needlessly. Heart’s cry, here’s my handkerchief for yours. M

So true ‘ Fault needs no home, it is unimportant’ sadly it is unbending too.I am caught between a son his wife and a husband. The loss also refers to a beautiful grandchild I am denied. The pain is so deep. Thank you for reading my words and for taking the time to share your wisdom

Willow, I can’t but think of shallows and low tides as beacons of hope.

“Time colours all things” and all things colour us, Willow. We are all a part of everything good and bad, and sometimes we just have to embrace the colours of fate around us. Hope things get better for you, Willow x
