        Though they are thinly disguised treatises on Christian philosophy, I’ve always loved the Narnia books. C.S. Lewis, of all the historical Christian philosophers I’ve examined, was by far the most intelligent, the most flexible minded, and, ultimately, one of the very few humans who I would ever say followed the example set by that most excellent moral reformer, Jesus of Nazareth. Though I cannot agree with C.S regarding the divinity of Christ, I can appreciate his own adoption of the rules of being a Christian…. He lived as he preached, which nobody today, at least in the church hierarchies, seems able to do….

        Sorry for the mini-rant; I’m rested, and on a roll today….

        It’s been a tough year, physically, but, I can see the light at the end…. I’m looking forward to a period of actually feeling okay, if not altogether good.
        Given the past twelve months of sheer hell, ‘okay’ is okay by me….
