The Best Laid Plans

Not  a  brilliant  day  so  I  rewrote  a  ROBERT BURNS Poem to suit my  present  mood!

The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry

You  think  you  have  all corners  covered  then  fate  pokes  you in the eye!

Your day is meticulously ordered, your  plans  are  carefully  laid.

Trying to  complete your tasks, when the unforeseen pops up and  your  nerves  are  frayed!

Oh, yes. This twisted fate lives on my block and doesn’t hesitate to knock on my door. If you learn the secret of having it pass you by, please let me know.

Beautiful prose. I ran across this article that talks about choices we can make to improve the focus of our lives:
