Evenings musing

unnamed (71)Here  I  am under  the  stars and  moon

The  crickets  sing  to  each other  and  soon

There will be  silence, no cars or voices to

Break  the  quite until the  sun rises  anew.

Today  I  stood  by  ruin’s  walls and  felt  the  history

I seemed  to  see it  all  the  life,  the  death,  the mystery.

What webs of intrigue went on  where I stood

Was there fighting  on this  spot , was it  for evil or  for  good.

I guess I  shall never know!

The first photo is very atmospheric and goes well with the poem.
