Exquisite – if I can get Tom well enough, we’d like to rent a houseboat on the Thames for a month next year. We’re able to do it through the Armed Forces. Do you have thoughts on the best time of year and best location or if it’s even a good idea.
I so love this photo. Tom used to shoot many photos using reflections. I know it takes talent to pull them off perfectly.

Don’t see your self short my dear friend. Yeah, our own personal guide to let us know the best place to want to rent a houseboat. Through the Armed Forces we can rent one that sleeps up to 6 for the same price. ‘Maybe we could meet each other, if you like.’ We would like to be someplace where we can leave the boat occasionally and explore the surrounding countryside. I’m a bit familiar with The Thames as I spent time near the water while I worked in Europe but that’s been many years ago. I remember the beauty and the tranquility. Tom loves the idea of a houseboat and he’d be able to rest and I’d be able to go out and about on days he wasn’t up to the challenge. Thanks for the offer. We will have enough room to share sleeping quarters with you at no cost for a few days if you like at no charge. We’ll already have paid the total cost up front:) Sheri
