Thank You Awesome Bloggers
Welcome to Willow’s weekly coffee and tea garden. My name is Paul, I’ll be your barista today and I’m happy to be here once again. Please come in and make yourself comfortable. Willow has plumped the cushions and started a cozy fire so we can warm ourselves while we have a cuppa and chat. As usual, I’d be pleased to bring a pot of whatever beverage you prefer – we have a wide range of teas and coffees to satisfy our world-wide readership. Also available is a large selection of spirits for addition to your cuppa or in its place. We can relax while we discuss the affairs of the week both personal and/or worldwide. How has your week been?
I finally got caught up on my e-mails and blog reading this week – phew! A few days away and they pile up by the thousands – literally. Mark over at his blog has been doing a photography course and I really liked the coffee cup photo he did as an assignment. Personally I’m for the big one. You know in the few short months that I’ve been exposed to the blogoverse I’ve met some wonderful people and read some thoughtful and some funny posts. I really enjoy seeing what others are thinking and how they let us into their lives. It struck me this morning how I’ve come to enjoy and look forward to hearing from each of you.
So, I want to take the time to share a few of the more uplifting posts I’ve had the pleasure of reading lately – with pictures. Mama over at Mama Mick’s
( http://mamamickterry.com/2015/03/20/duck-duck- cat/ ) did a post about her hectic week and included a great one minute video about herding cats
This video is about 1 minute and is hilarious.
One of my favorite pictures I got from Julie Christine’s blog some time ago:
Cheer up!
Julie, who owns Fabulous Blogging, consults for a living, just got married last week and has written this week’s post about how her life has changed in so many positive ways. Sobering things up, Fish of Gold she lost her partner and lover last week when he passed away suddenly of a medical condition. Her post on how she is handling her grief is heart wrenching.

Fish of Gold’s Companion in Grief
If you’re looking for a ludicrous view of life and lots of back and forth humorous quips the click on over to Gibber Jabberin where Gibber takes questions from readers and asks her readers for the answer as they see it.
Then there is Doobster of Mindful Digressions to get his personal stuff off his work laptop – not as easy a task as it sounds.
Next up is Mark over at Exile on Pain Street who just had an operation for skin cancer. He’s headed down to Atlantic City to celebrate a
successful operation – and for some R and R.
If you’re looking for some philosophy, poetry or art, check out Belinda’s site, the Idiotwriter where she has asked readers for an interpretation of a digital artwork she created.
For humor one can always find a chuckle at Ned’s Blog . As a writer, syndicated humor columnist and reporter for a the Siuslaw News in Oregon, USA, Ned recently visited the Local High School to show them his expertise in the long jump.
Ned’s Canadian counterpart Ross Murray is a writer, newspaper man, broadcaster, thespian, and humor blogger and blogs at “Drinking Tips for Teens”. Ross recently got
lost with his wife while hiking close to town ( https://rossmurray1.wordpress.com/2015/
03/19/we-could-have-died-out-there-2/ ) and wrote about it.
Behind the White Coat
To take a look at the world of a doctor from “Behind the White Coat” click over to Victo Dolore’s site https://doctorly.wordpress.com/2015/03/21/running-from-the-race/ where
today she deals with a patient who is stealing the suckers kept for kids.
I get my daily morning cheer from Beth’s blog – I Didn’t Have My Glasses On – http://ididnthavemyglasseson.com/2015/03/21/happy-national-common-courtesy-day/
where she dispenses tidbits of wisdom, humor and heartfelt commentary. Today she is celebrating National Common Courtesy Day.
My Australian connection is Suz at “It Goes On” where her last post described her busy week down under. She does some amazing photography and posts about life, travel, her garden and

A Sample Of Suz’s Photography
Kerbey at “I Don’t Get it” regularly posts photos from the past or extraordinary pictures.
And of course Cordelia’s Mum who often also kindly hosts my guest posts. These are but a few of the regulars that I check out – folks who share their lives that make up my on-line network.. There are far too many to mention but for sure I have to include Willow, who so graciously edits and hosts my weekly ramblings. Also are: Aussa at Aussa Lorens ; Lynn at Life after 50 ; Christy at Running on Sober ,Elyse at Fifty Four and a Half ; Robyn at Blog Woman!!! ; Insanitybytes at See, There’s This Thing called Biology …; Don at Don of All Trades ; Dobetteralways ; Phil at Philosopher Mouse of the Hedge ) ; Trent at Trent Lewin ; El Guapo at Alphabet Soup ; Linda at
LindaGHill ; Anawnimiss over at Anawnimiss ; Barry from Another Spectrum in New Zealand . My apologies to any that I may have missed.
On that note, that’s about all we have room for this week, so it’s time to settle in with another cuppa and watch the fire. Sweets anyone? Please join me in thanking Willow for her invitation to tea. We are all honored that you dropped by today to visit. I hope you’ve enjoyed yourself and the conversation and please look around at Willow’s other posts while you’re here. Willow is over there serving her guests and chatting it up. Let’s go see how she is today. Have a great week. We look forward to seeing you back here for sweets and beverages of your choice again next week.

Mar 23, 2015 @ 23:48:17
The pleasure’s all mine Paul, i’m a HUGE animal rights activist/ lover and this post really made my day. God bless! ❤
Mar 24, 2015 @ 22:07:55
Thanks so much 1EU, I too am an animal lover and yet, to be honest i didn’t realize how much the post was oriented to animals until I read your comment and then went back and looked. You are very right. Interestingly enough I tried to reflect what was important to each blogger and incorporate it ia a few words. Animals seem to be an important part of many bloggers lives. Many of the bloggers that I identified in other ways, also do discuss their animals in their posts. A lot of dogs and cats, but also snakes and ferrets and others as well.
Thanks so much for pointing that out 1EU, it surprised me. Please drop by agaun.
Mar 24, 2015 @ 01:02:45
This is a great cuppa, Paul! Thanks so much for the mention and photo of my cuppa and big head. 🙂 I’m nowhere as nice looking as Michelle ‘Mama Mick’ Terry’s photo, though. 😉 You are in great form mentioning so many of our friends, Beth, Mark, Ross, Kerbey, Doobster, Belinda, Fishy … Holy cow. I’m right at home at Willow’s place today.

Mar 24, 2015 @ 07:14:47
Welcome Mark! I think you look particularly handsome right up top there. The coffee cups fit very well with the theme today. I am honored to be a part of such a group that includes yourself and Willow and CM and all the others. And I just wanted to thank all the bloggers who have accepted me in their midst. Thanks so much for dropping by for a cuppa and a chat. if you get a chance, the herding cats video is hilarious – likely the funniest video I’ve seen. Please come by again.
