Afternoon Sun
I love the sea,
But I am not sure the sea loves me .
Deep and blue and glinting
What does it feel for me I am thinking.
I love the sea, the deep blue sea
I long to swim in its depths and be free.
The hot burning sand on the shore
Make me hop and skip as I anticipate the cold, blue and more.
The deep blue sea
I love the sea, the deep blue sea at the edge of the shore waiting for me .
Like a mermaid with an inborn call I am lured to the sea.
Fear and love for I cannot swim far and it is so deep
I love the sea the deep blue sea, so much it makes me weep!

Beautifully said and what a shore you have there. I had a bit of a hard time at work and when I came home today (tomorrow is my day off) I thought and later said to the husband: “I need to go the sea to relax and let the stress go!”. Thanks for taking part 🙂
