Just Jot It January: A Good Night

It’s Friday night and she is  out  with  her besties.

She has  worked hard  all week and  it’s time to let  her  hair down

They have some  shots  before they go, put themselves  at their ease.

Need to forget the week  and and their  troubles drown.

Short skirts high heels, false lashes red lips

Tonight they are going out it is their playtime

They’ve  all topped up with voddy, slight slurs weaving hips

Out they sally into the night, no coats, young girls in their prime

Early hours  freezing  cold , tights ripped heels broke

She has been sick and wet  herself no shred of selrespect

Lying in her own mess shaking  as she chokes

People passing by  dissmiss her as a social reject.

OH!  her friends  had all left her there, she could  die  of shame

She hopes no one she knows has  seen her staggering around

Why  had  she not taken care, not played that drinking game

Her face was gashed , her knee grazed where she’d fallen on the ground.

Too many  young people  and  many many  are  girls  binge drink read  here

Binge Drinking
