Lost and lonely.

A single tear touches the red rose

Hope dies slowly as despair grows

Cold and lonely without hope

No way to climb the slope

Why does he cause pain

More loss than gain

Eyes close hide

Lips lied

Lost.

Really? Cool! I’ve never been to any Ritz but all my life I’ve always thought of the Ritz as the best of the best. In books, movies, stories, etc , it always was the fanciest in the world. Was it as good as they say Willow?.

Your talent as a poet simply astounds me. There is no way your readers could read this poem without being emotional./

So touching……. Sadness certainly reaches untenable depths. This poem certainly dives about as deep as any can to reach the feeling of such sorrow. In itself it’s beautiful Willow. But now may I give you a personal prompt? Something from the opposite end of the spectrum? Something living deep within our fair Willow that so expressing it would make even the angels shout with glee…… What exists within that brightens Willow’s every day? I know it’s there, for it even brightens many of my own….
