Johnny had chose SPITE for the Music Theme for this week. woow that is a mean and a hard theme to tackle and of course I am very late I do hope not too late to join in!
Spite is a many headed monster it can manifest itself in many places in fact in every part of our lives. There is physical spite and mental spite, each as cruel as the other. Spite can hit at any age it is usually born of jealousy or hate usually when it comes down to it jealousy and a feeling of being done down or out done of something, that will fit the bill.
There is spite between children, pinching, poking and much worse, bullying, lying and so on. It get worse when you grow up there can be spite at work, spite at home . People will knowingly hold you back, make your life difficult lie about you . Spite in couples can be even worse it can destroy everyone in the relationship even if there are children things can be even worse!
SPITE
Nasty, vicious , hurtful spitting fire
Enjoying every drop of pain your actions inspire.
Planing nasty things behind my back
Enjoying the horror in me when you attack
I can play that game too
There are lots of things I can do to you !
I can call you names and brake your possessions
I lay you bare and divulge all your obsessions.
But you always have the upper hand
You can hurt me with a look or word , you need nothing grand.
I guess I am just a slave to you
We are both slaves to the spite we do.
