It’s Not Happening

Explosion! what did he say.
No way this is not right
He cannot say that today.
If I close my eyes it’ll be all right.

Let me out I need some air
This is not happening now.
Not me, no this is not fair.
I can’t breathe,this is …. wow.

Open a window I am chocking here.
Yes a glass of water please
You spoken the words we all fear.
Please say it’s not true, this is just a tease.

Out in the street the traffic is loud.
Sweating profusely I shiver and shake.
I want to scream caught in this crowd.
Not Cancer it’s more than I can take.

Another Poem for Breast Cancer Awareness Week.

Me too. Which type? You’re going to beat it, you know. Yes. You are.

Also my husband had a radical prostate-ectomy fifteen years ago due to Agent Orange exposure prostate cancer, the fast growing kind. All gone now. Small carcinoma (sun cancer) on his ear removed without even a scar.

With love and hugs and prayers for a quick and complete remission and recovery.

Bear I wrote the poem as a poem no more. Then today I was at the Drs and raised some concerns and out of the blue I am set on the way for some tests. I am sure it will turn out to be something quiet harmless and my poem was as I had meant it just part of the breast cancer awareness month , and nothing more sinister. Thanks for caring and say a little prayer for me . Thank you. xxxxx

Panic set in reading today’s post, so I’ve just read this one Willow, written 2 years before we discovered Humphrey. Hope your tests came to nothing. ❤
